It’s affects on the environment and our bodies long term. We offer practical solutions and ways to help clean up the mess and attitudes. We also donate the One World Filter product to those in areas that have contaminated water supplies. As well as for disaster relief. One World Filter uses a nano technology which filters through a gravity flow system requiring no electricity. It removes all bacteria, viruses, heavy metals, pesticides, micro plastics, parasites, and more, which can help prevent 1.3 million deaths related to drinking contaminated water yearly accounting to the UN.

Happy City St. John’s is a non-profit organization that informs, encourages, and facilitates public dialogue around civic issues in the city of St. John’s. Our vision is to become a trusted and valued venue for citizens, advocacy groups, business associations, labour organizations, and municipal staff to come together. We firmly believe that an informed city is a successful city – and a happy city. At Happy City, we’re always looking for new ways to reach out to the people of St. John’s. Most of our engagement work happens in two ways: Online: Through our website, our Facebook presence, and our Twitter account, Happy City posts articles and ideas, looks for comments, and provides a space for citizens to work collaboratively to shape emerging ideas about the shape of St. John’s. In Person: Happy City organizes forums that bring citizens together to discuss civic issues. We use a talented facilitator to run these sessions as “open spaces,” with the agenda set by the participants.

The Learning Disabilities Association of Newfoundland and Labrador (LDANL) acts as a provincial network for individuals with learning disabilities and those who support them.  LDANL offers programs to build literacy and mathematical skills, provides advocacy and offers individual and family support.  Through public awareness activities, workshops, media, and by working with our partners in the community, LDANL strives to share an increased level of understanding of Learning Disabilities. It is the vision of LDANL to enable all individuals with learning disabilities to reach their full potential. LDANL’s mission is to raise awareness about, advocate for and support individuals with learning disabilities and their families.

Marguerite's Place, Inc. is a nonprofit transitional housing and supportive services program for homeless women in crisis and their children.

The Frosty Festival has been a fixture in the City of Mount Pearl for over 3 decades. It began in 1983 as a volunteer-driven initiative that was organized by a group of community organizations. Now, as it enters its 36th year, the Frosty Festival has grown into the largest winter event of its kind in Atlantic Canada. The Frosty Festival offers a quality package of diverse entertainment that caters to all sectors of the population to encourage both indoor and outdoor activity during the winter. The Festival prides itself on keeping admission costs low to encourage maximum participation within the community.

We are a volunteer group of parents, friends and families committed to raising awareness and understanding of Down syndrome, and to removing societal barriers that place limits on our children’s ability to be valued and contributing members of our community.

Sci-Fi on the Rock is an annual not for profit science fiction, fantasy and horror festival held in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada. Moving into our 13th year we are going strong with an increasing number of attendees. Sci-Fi on the Rock is involved in our community year long and hosts and participates in many other geeky or community events.
