Opportunity Description:

Mary’s Meals is a grassroots, low-cost charity that depends heavily on volunteers to help us share our work in their local communities. Mary’s Meals provides a daily meal in a place of education to chronically hungry children in some of the world’s poorest communities. We are dedicated to spending at least 93% of donations directly on our charitable work, which is why we have such a need for volunteers. Mainly volunteers help us to raise awareness (and in the process, raise funds for our programs as well). Some of the ways to raise awareness include organizing local volunteer hubs or fundraising groups, giving talks to churches, schools and groups within your community, and by sharing one of our short documentaries (https://www.marysmeals.ca/en/get-involved/book-and-films/generation-hope). As a Community Ambassador for Mary’s Meals, you will help represent Mary’s Meals as an ambassador for our work and share information and stories about our work in your local community in ways that suit your personality and available time commitment. All resources and training are provided.
