Opportunity Description:

The East Coast Trail Association is seeking energetic volunteers for maintenance hikes along our trails. This volunteer position will include weekend outings for vegetation control. If you like hiking, want to get outdoors on the Trail and if you like the idea of trail maintenance, then this may be the position for you!

Volunteers can register for one or many maintenance hikes! Volunteers can assist in a variety of activities such as trimming, brush cutting, trash pick up, slash removal, fire pit remediation and water bar clearing.

The East Coast Trail is a wilderness hiking trail that showcases the rugged natural beauty and cultural heritage along the eastern edge of the Avalon Peninsula. This volunteer role will greatly assist the East Coast Trail Association allowing public access o the trail, keeping it open, free and available to all.
