Rescue NL is the first and only rescue in NL to take in all Breeds of animals across the Province.
Founded in May 2015, Rescue NL relies soley on volunteers and donations to operate.
Friends of MUN Botanical Garden (FOG), a not-for-profit charity, is a membership-based organization providing a continuous, experienced-based learning for individuals from all walks of life with an interest in the botanical, horticultural and eco-system aspects of their natural environment. It helps preserve, interpret and manage the natural reserve areas of the Garden and through its activities furthers community awareness of, involvement in, and respect for, the natural environment as represented by the Garden.

Through education and programming, we promote responsible pet ownership and encourage spaying and neutering, so animals receive the love and respect they deserve.
The Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) is a nation-wide conservation organization. We protect important natural areas for the enjoyment and benefit of all Canadians.
NCC protects approximately 13,500 acres of beautiful landscapes across Newfoundland and Labrador. We also work with communities to engage them on the land through volunteer work and outreach events.

WILD Outside is a national conservation-based youth leadership program designed for youth ages 15 to 18. By participating in this immersive program, young Canadians will experience opportunities for personal growth while developing and encouraging their own “conservation ethic.” Learning from CWF facilitators alongside their peers, youth who join the WILD Outside program will connect with other local participants in the planning and delivery of community-based conservation action projects in their own community.
ClimateScience aims to empower people to make real long-term solutions to climate change actionable through climate education. We hope our way of covering solutions makes people excited to contribute to clean energy, sustainable agriculture, and other global-scale sustainability issues – beyond reusing their plastic bags. We believe education is the most powerful tool in the fight against climate change.
ClimaFacts Atlantic is committed to enhancing public knowledge on environmental climate change issues among Atlantic Canadians by providing an accessible resource about scientific climate research, promoting informed discussions and positive change.
Earth Rangers is an environmental non-profit that empowers youth to take action for the environment. Our ER Teens program offers an opportunity for young Canadians aged 13-18 to take initiative for environmental causes they care about, such as wildlife conservation, climate change, sustainability, and more. By working remotely with staff, teens volunteer their time to complete an eco-action project of their choice; at home, at school, in their community, or online. Our flexible program ensures that teens can work at their own pace, while having the support and resources they need to make a positive impact.
It is the ECMA's mission to foster, develop, promote and celebrate East Coast music and its artists locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.
We strive to succeed in our mission through the execution of our annual event (East Coast Music Week), educational sessions, trade missions and our International Export Program. We also partner with special industry organizations to offer additional opportunities to our artists.
The Lantern Festival is a public project. Victoria Park is the canvas for the festival, and the festival highlights the historical and natural features of the park, including the annual daylighting of buried Bennett's Brook with a river of glass jar lanterns. The sheer number of people who attend the festival and enjoy this vital urban space for the afternoon and after dusk is astounding.
