Currently Recruiting Volunteers for the Summer Games July 13-16, 2017
The Special Olympics Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Summer Games are coming to the metro area this summer and volunteers are needed to help make it a successful and encouraging Games for everyone.
From July 13-16, 2017 over 700 athletes, coaches, and supporters from across the province will compete in St. John’s, Mount Pearl, and Conception Bay South in track and field, swimming, power lifting, rhythmic gymnastics, bowling, and more!
Please join us as we bring these exciting games and inspiring athletes to the area.
In order to ensure that these Games are a true success, your help is needed. You don’t need a sport background or any previous experience with SONL to volunteer during the Summer Games. All you need is enthusiasm for helping empower people with intellectual disabilities through sport. If you have a couple hours to give, or if you want to volunteer for the entire weekend, you can be a volunteer.
