Meditation & the Art of Feeling Connected: Sunday Drop-in Classes

Organized by Kadampa Meditation Centre Ottawa

About this Event

Feeling joyful and connected to others is essential for our wellbeing, inner peace and happiness. Yet even in a place like St. John's, surrounded by people, a sense of connection can be elusive. In this drop-in meditation series, we explore simple but powerful meditations that gently open the heart and create a genuine feeling of connection with others. Each session includes two guided meditations and a practical talk, followed by time for questions. Each class is self-contained, so you're welcome to join at any time. No previous experience is required. Led by Adele Chatterton, a St. John's resident who has practised Kadampa Buddhism for over 20 years and presents the teachings in a practical and light way.

Sundays, 10-11:15am, Oct 4, 11 and 18 · Paul Reynolds Community Centre, 35 Carrick Drive, St. John's, NL A1A 4N2 (Frances Lambe Room 2) · $15 per class (cash, debit or credit at the door, or pre-register online) · https://meditateinottawa.org/meditation-in-newfoundland/weekly-meditation-classes-at-paul-reynolds-community-centre-with-adele-chatterton/
