You’re in the right place.Results Canada is now accepting applications for its Education and Advocacy Fellowship Program, a 5-month hands-on opportunity to build your leadership, communication, and advocacy skills while generating the political will to end extreme poverty.Open to individuals aged 18 and above across Canada, Fellows engage virtually with peers to deepen their understanding of global health and poverty in low- and middle-income countries, write letters to the editor, raise awareness on social media, and engage with federal decision-makers. The Heather Cutler Foundation is a Canadian charity headquartered in Newfoundland and Labrador dedicated to improving survival and quality of life for people affected by pancreatic cancer.We are currently recruiting Event Support Volunteers to assist with upcoming digital and in-person initiatives. Volunteers will work closely with our Director of Events and Outreach to support event coordination, outreach tracking, and operational planning.This is a flexible, project-based role suitable for students or individuals interested in nonprofit work, public health, communications, or event management.Responsibilities may include:• Building and maintaining event and partner contact lists• Assisting with outreach coordination and tracking• Supporting social media and promotional materials• Organizing volunteer availability for events• Providing support during virtual or in-person events• Light administrative tracking and coordinationThis role typically requires approximately 4–6 hours per week, with short increases around event dates.
