Cabot Toastmasters Club

Toastmasters is a global, non-profit educational organization th<span class="text_exposed_show">at was started in 1924 to help people develop their public speaking and leadership skills. There are 340,000+ Toastmasters worldwide in more than 15,000 clubs like ours.</span>

Our club, Cabot Toastmasters, is part of that worldwide organization and was started in 1993. Our members come from all over the Mount Pearl-St. John's-CBS metro area.

The Toastmasters program allows members to develop confidence in public speaking and leadership at their own pace, in a supportive and friendly club environment.

We also try to give back to the community. Some members of our club regularly volunteer their time and expertise to teach a public-speaking program for pharmacy students at Memorial University.
