Founded in 2017, the Newfoundland & Labrador Beard & Moustache Club (NLBMC) is a non-profit dedicated to the betterment of our community through volunteering, charitable fundraising, and other community services.
In 2017 we set out to make the MerB’ys calendar featuring a diverse group of bearded humans dressed as Mermen. By the time we were finished we had sold over 14,000 copies of the calendar in over 100 countries; ultimately raising over $300,000 for Spirit Horse – Stable Life Inc., a local equine mental health charity.
The NLBMC is currently looking for an individual to act as a volunteer Accounting Advisor. We need someone who will work closely with our Executive Directors to help us find more efficient ways to operate, navigate the legal mumbo-jumbo, remit HST, and prepare an annual financial report.
