Opportunity Description:

The Royal Canadian Legion serves Veterans, including serving military and RCMP members and their families, to promote Remembrance, and to serve our community and our country.

The Legion also provides one of the largest volunteer bases in the country. Volunteering with the Legion offers meaningful opportunities to help Veterans, give back to the community, meet neighbours, learn new skills, and have fun!

Pleasantville Legion Branch 56 is looking for volunteers to help with a large variety of exciting projects and activities. Whether you can help for a few minutes here and there, or a few hours on an ongoing basis, there is something for everyone here at the Branch.

All are welcome! You do not need to be a Veteran, have been in the service, or be a member of the Legion to volunteer with us.

 Projects and activities include:

  • Helping out in our War Museum
  • Grounds maintenance
  • Fundraising projects
  • General renovation help
  • Projects done from home
