About Harbourside Park

This park was built to commemorate the 1583 proclamation by Sir Humphrey Gilbert claiming Newfoundland. Harbourside Park is the venue for the City of St. John’s free Music at Harbourside lunchtime concert series, on Fridays at 12:30 p.m. throughout the summer.
