Our ER Teens program offers an opportunity for young Canadians aged 13-18 to take initiative for environmental causes they care about, such as wildlife conservation, climate change, sustainability, and more. By working remotely with staff, teens volunteer their time to complete an eco-action project of their choice; at home, at school, in their community, or online. Our flexible program ensures that teens can work at their own pace, while having the support and resources they need to make a positive impact.

Mary's Meals sets up school feeding programs in some of the world's poorest communities where poverty and hunger prevent children from gaining an education.
Currently, we are feeding over 2 million children daily in over 18, of the world's poorest countries. It costs just $22 to feed a child for a whole school year.
Committed to keeping our running costs low, from every $1 earned, we spend at least 93 cents on charitable activities.
With 61 million children still out of school and many more chronically hungry, our work continues.
At the Foundation Fighting Blindness, it is our mission to lead the fight against blindness by advancing retinal disease research, education and public awareness, and ultimately restore hope and sight.
Supported by Canadian Heritage, the YMCA Summer Work Student Exchange is a national six-week work and language exchange program providing 16-17 year old youth with the opportunity to improve their second official language skills, gain employment experience through a paid work placement and participate in cultural activities on the weekends.
Youth from Northeast Avalon participate in Quebec, work at a non-profit and live with a host family while a group of youth will come to complete the exchange in Northeast Avalon. As the exchange is reciprocal, hosts are required in Northeast Avalon for incoming Quebec youth so that Northeast Avalon youth can go. TeamUP Science is excited to bring you an all-new virtual event series for junior high students! The Canada CyberSTEAM Challenge (C3) is a series of six 48-hour challenges that students in grades 6-9 located anywhere in Canada can complete alone or with a partner in the comfort of their own homes. C3 aims to provide youth from rural or underprivileged communities with academic enrichment opportunities that they would not otherwise have access to. C3 aims to create an international community of youth united in their passion for science, technology, engineering, arts, and math.
The Halifax Helpers was established to make sure that all students receive the academic support they require to become fearless learners. We provide free online tutoring and language sessions for elementary, junior high school, and high school students in the maritimes and beyond.
