The East Coast Trail Association seeks candidates who can offer legal knowledge and expertise in an active leadership role, as the VP – Land and Legal.
The vice-president is responsible for the mandate of the L&L committee, reports into the President and is a member of the Board of Directors.
The vice-president is responsible for identifying, prioritizing, planning, resourcing and executing the work plans required to protect and preserve the Trail and support the business of the Association.
The functional scope of the committee includes: setting & implementing L&L strategy, land investigation & analysis, issues resolution, town plans, research & legislation, lobbying for trail protection, legal counsel and team building.
To join the board of directors you must be an ECTA member in good standing. Elections to the Board of Directors will take place at the Association’s AGM on September 28th at Quidi Vidi Brewery in St. John’s.
