The Vera Perlin Society’s Walk Around the Pond is an annual charity event supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities in St. John’s and the surrounding area. The 30th Annual Walk is scheduled for Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Mundy Pond, with registration beginning at 9:00 AM at St. Teresa’s School. The walk starts at 10:00 AM, and participants who raise $25 or more will receive a free event T-shirt.
The event is family-friendly, featuring an easy walking trail, prize draws, and refreshments provided by local sponsors. Donations and pledges help fund programs and services offered by the Vera Perlin Society.
