Cabot Toastmasters Club Logo

Toastmasters is a global, non-profit educational organization that was started in 1924 to help people develop their public speaking and leadership skills. There are 340,000+ Toastmasters worldwide in more than 15,000 clubs like ours.

Our club, Cabot Toastmasters, is part of that worldwide organization and was started in 1993. Our members come from all over the Mount Pearl-St. John’s-CBS metro area.

The Toastmasters program allows members to develop confidence in public speaking and leadership at their own pace, in a supportive and friendly club environment.

We also try to give back to the community. Some members of our club regularly volunteer their time and expertise to teach a public-speaking program for pharmacy students at Memorial University.

Volunteers don’t get paid, not because they’re worthless, but because they’re priceless.
